lovewp is free to read. We pay for it, including the hosting plans we buy to test, through affiliate links.
What an affiliate link is
When you click some of the buttons on lovewp, such as “Get WP Rocket” or “Visit Kinsta”, and then buy, the company may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra. Affiliate links on lovewp go through addresses that start with lovewp.com/go/, so you can always tell which links they are.
How it affects our reviews
- It doesn’t change verdicts. We decide the verdict and love score before adding any affiliate link.
- We say “free is enough” whenever it is, even though a free plugin earns us nothing.
- We review products that have no affiliate programme on exactly the same terms.
- No company can pay for a review, a better score or a place in our lists.
Free licences and accounts
Sometimes a company gives us a free licence or account so we can test paid features. When that happens, the review says so clearly. It doesn’t affect the verdict.
Who we work with
Our affiliate links come from companies’ own programmes and from affiliate networks such as Impact, Awin and CJ. These networks may use cookies to record that a sale came from lovewp.
